The Experience to Get Things Done

Representative Del Taylor has worked tirelessly on behalf of our community since his election in November 2022. He serves as a member of several key Committees of the House: Budget, Utilities, Ways and Means, and the Substance Abuse Prevention & Treatment Task Force. For his support of education, Del received the 2023 Friend of Higher Education Award from the UMSL Alumni Association.

Delbret “Del” Taylor has fond memories of growing up in St. Louis, attending Dozier Elementary, representing his troop at the Boy Scout’s Council, and serving as President of Junior Achievement at the King Center in the old Sears building. He went on to earn an engineering degree from Washington University, being inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. Del went on to earn his MBA.

For over 30 years Del has been a successful engineer, consultant, computer systems specialist and business leader. He’s helped dozens of global corporations improve their operations including AIG, FIJI Water, Ford, GM, New York Life, and Seagate. Del continues to serve through active membership in National Society of Black Engineers, National Black MBA Association, AΦA Fraternity, Sierra Club, Indivisible St. Louis, Missouri Healthcare for All, and Show-Me Integrity.
