Welcome

Real Progress as Promised

Thank you for visiting our website. I’m State Representative Del Taylor and since my election in November of 2022 and re-election in 2024, I’ve worked diligently to deliver real results. As a member of the House Budget Committee here is a list of projects and grants I’ve sponsored and secured state funding towards:

$10 Million – Towards the St. Louis 911 Dispatch Center

$6 Million – For Powell Hall Renovations

$3 Million – For Annie Malone Children
& Family Services

$426,000 – For Non-Profit & Youth Mentoring Organizations

$300,000 Lincoln Univ. & UM Agricultural Coaches

$150,000 National Society of Black Engineers

$400,000 to support St. Louis Community College Nursing Programs

As an engineer, I also strongly supported a $10 Million grant towards creating a school of engineering at UMSL

We fought back attempts to gut child labor laws. In 2023, the very first bill I introduced was HB 1135 to prohibit individuals with protective orders against them for domestic abuse from possessing firearms. The U. S. Supreme Court just this year, in an 8 to 1 ruling, declared such a law Constitutional. I will continue that fight as well as supporting the effort to restore women’s rights to make their own reproductive decisions. I vehemently opposed Amendments 4 and 5 in 2026 which were defeated in August by an 83% no vote. I’ll steadfastly defend the civil and voting rights of all people, increase funds for public education, support business development and job growth, worker’s rights, and work to reduce crime and violence.

I would appreciate your vote for re-election on November 3rd in the General Election. If you can also make a donation to my re-election, please use the donation button. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. If you would like a yard sign or to become a campaign volunteer, please use the form on the contact page. Thank you! –Del Taylor
